So, you have watched Marvel’s version of an all out “I’MA BURN IT ALL” in Avengers: Infinity War. Don’t worry, we will not be treading into spoiler territory (what do you mean you haven’t watched it yet?!). Without giving anything away, there was a feeling that something, or someone, was missing. It’s probably just a tiny detail the film’s producers left out during post-production. No big deal.
Not all of us are true Marvel aficionados. But if you have seen the promotional footage for Infinity War leading up to its premiere, Ant-Man (Scott Lang) and his supposed new partner the Wasp (Hope Van Dyne) were nowhere to be found. We will be seeing them in their own heist movie/comedy pre-Thanos snap in the aptly titled Ant-Man and the Wasp this July. And this film promises to set up a lot of things we will see in the concluding Avengers 4 on April 29, 2019.
Based on what we know so far in the trailers, there is definitely nothing tiny with this Hollywood-sized blockbuster. Ivan Matsumoto of the Entitled PH broke down 10 theories that have the possibility (read: some of it is just ridiculous) of happening in the film. We were just hoping for a really cool Stan Lee cameo.
Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp premieres on July 4 in the Philippines and July 5 in Australia and New Zealand.
