Japan and Senegal scored major victories against higher ranked competition in the 2018 FIFA World Cup. What their fans did after the games is gaining attention throughout the globe.
Goals, Goals, GOALS!
Non-existing ear biting and failed penalty kicks aside, there is a lot of good happening in and out of the best pitches in the world. Take for instance the good-will sowed by the fans of Japan and Senegal.
After winning in convincing fashion against much-more fancied teams (Colombia and Poland, respectively. Poor James Rodriguez), fans of both victors have frolicked and partied on the streets. Have you seen how the Japanese celebrate World Cup wins?
Instead, some spectators decided to tidy up the stadium a bit by picking up the trash. Why other fans did not pitch in the effort to help out could be anyone’s guess, but these fans deserve all the #Respect in the world. Photos and videos of the Japanese and Senegalese cleaning up the stands have been going viral on social media.

Oh well, at least Ronaldo is not doing great. Oh wait.
