The crown jewel of the Auckland skyline, the Sky Tower’s 328 metre tall frame has witnessed the clouds for over 20 years. The tower itself is part of the Auckland SKYCITY, an entertainment complex built with world-class hotels, a casino, and a 700 seater theatre. With just a simple coin donation, you and your family will gain access to a 360 degree, panoramic view of the city. You would be able to see sights such as Rangitoto Island, Mount Victoria and Maungauika, the North Head. And if the height doesn’t bother you, take a wild, adrenaline rush by taking a base-jump via SkyJump, or go ‘Mission Impossible’ by traversing the edges of the tower through SkyWalk!

Bring out the inner jungle adventurer in you. Scaling Tree Adventures is like taking a wilder version of the SkyWalk, with more carabiners, high-level cables and platforms! Kids will certainly enjoy the thrill of scaling trees like Tarzan, but what about the adults? Don’t worry, there is a “choose your own Adventure” option, with 10 tree-scaling courses of varying heights and difficulty. If the heights really scare you, you could take the Tree Huggin’ adventure route and scale the easiest course to see some amazing treetop views. Try out a course you’re comfortable with, and climb away!
