Our Colour Frenzy Goal for 2020 is to raise $5000 for each Animal Rescue we work with and to raise over $100,000 for Animal Rescues in Australia. On Sunday 5th of April 2020, we will be holding the Fun Walk / Run at Queens Domain Hobart with our Colourful Fun Run, Market stalls, Free Face Painting, Lots of Giveaways and more! Starting at 7:00am with our fun run warm up starting at 8:15am and the walk / run at 8:30am finishing at 10am We will have our 2.5km loop track marked out for everyone to follow with multiple colourful zones along the way. You can do 1 or 2 laps, its your choice! No timing and No pressure! 5 Colour Stations, 1 Foam Station (BUBBLES) and a new crawl cargo net station, when was the last time you got down and did something you wouldn’t normally do?? All our stations and events are not hard, they are all ages and just for fun! You can Walk, Jog, Run or even crawl. It’s completely self-paced and untimed. 80% of our attendees walk the events. Increasingly, the colourful, dress-up festival has become a way for groups of friends and families to participate in a healthy, fun activity to kick off their Mother’s Day. This year the organisers are hoping to raise $4 million for breast cancer research. Money raised supports research into new treatments, diagnostic techniques and of course the end goal of finding a cure.
The City to Casino Fun Run/Walk in Hobart, Tasmania on Sunday, 17 May 2020 has 11km, 7km and kids running/walking events, all finishing at the Wrest Point Casino. The event was established in 1973 and is the oldest fun run in Tasmania. Held in May each year, the event attracts over 3,000 participants of all ages and abilities, offering plenty of choice and opportunity for participants of all ages and abilities.
