Event Junior films are family friendly and include a 10-minute intermission (selected cinemas), and the lights will stay on low for the duration of the movie and the sound has been modified for little ears.

    Taronga’s Wild Ropes Adventure

    Sydneysiders can experience Taronga Zoo’s amazing wildlife and harbour views from an entirely different perspective, with the treetop high ropes adventure, Wild Ropes. Wild Ropes gives participants the chance to navigate a series of more than 60 exciting challenges over four courses, including suspension bridges, rope climbs and zip-lines, while enjoying a bird’s eye view of Australian animals, such as koalas, kangaroos and wallabies. At heights of up to 10 metres above ground level, climbers will take in the sights of Sydney Harbour like never before, capturing their adrenalin-filled adventure with an on course action photo – a world first! Wild Ropes has been designed as a low environmental impact, high adventure experience that encourages people to play outside – not online – and to reconnect with nature and appreciate our unique wildlife. From tweens and teens to travelers and corporate high fliers, Wild Ropes is designed to test the limits and provide an action-packed experience for adventurers of all ages. Open to participants aged 10 and over, the up to 90-minute Wild Ropes experience includes access to two action-packed courses, one low and one high, with options available to add on bonus courses. Taronga Zoo also recently launched its new children’s courses as part of our existing outdoor adventure course Wild Ropes. The two new courses, specifically designed for children aged 3 years and older, will see kids swing, soar and explore their way as they cross tight ropes, scale nets and dash through tree houses. Adults can supervise children from the ground or the newly built parent’s boardwalk. The Wild Ropes Children course is an addition to the existing course for adults and kids aged over 8 so now the whole family can be in on the fun.

    Playful Little Penguin Talks At Sea Life Aquarium

Squeak! Cute Mice everywhere in this show for two-to-five year olds, performed  by the JERAL PUPPETS on Tues 4, Fri 7, Wed 12, Sun 16, Mon17, Thurs 20, Sun 23 September at 10.30am. “THE THREE LITTLE PIGS” a show for two-to-five year olds, featuring the ever-popular story of “the Three Little Pigs”, as well as songs, skits and shadow puppets,  will be performed  by the JERAL PUPPETS on Wed 25, Fri 28., Sun 30 September at 10.30am.

    Choreography Workshop

    CHOREOGRAPHY WORKSHOP Join us for a 3-hour immersion to unpack the nuts and bolts of choreography and improvisation. This introductory workshop explores the creative process for devising movement and will give you numerous practical tools that you can apply to your own projects. Or even inspire you to start one! The workshop is open to all levels of experience – beginners, experienced movers, dancers, and non-dancers. We welcome anyone with a desire to develop their understanding and practice of choreography in a supportive environment. This workshop will explore diverse methods of dance making; including improvisational warm ups and bite size compositional tasks that set limitations to spark your creativity!
