The Woodford Folk Festival’s Children’s programme is out now, for families to plan their favourite annual New Year’s Experience. Eight venues within one of Australia’s most beautiful festival sites are colourfully curated to give ages 1 to 12 amazing opportunities to play – to wake up their imaginations, challenge their thinking, and stretch their bodies, many of them designed as interactive experiences for parents and children.
The Children’s Festival is looking forward to welcoming some brand new special guests this year: California’s Secret Agent 23 Skidoo, a Grammy-winning, internationally touring, purple tuxedo- rocking family funk and positive hip hop phenomenon! His beats will get the whole family making funk faces and his lyrics never dumb it down.
The Children’s Festival makes its home in a shaded grove close to the Season Camping Ground – also close to the Festival’s dedicated child-minding service, The Land of Nod. Families will also enjoy the spectacular annual Welcome and Closing Ceremonies, as well as street theatre performers, the nightly Pond puppet show – and of course, the Woodford Folk Festival.
The Woodford Folk Festival’s Children’s Festival can be enjoyed as a day trip, or stay for the duration of the event from 27th December 2018 – 1st January 2019.
