Muriwai Surf School is located on Auckland’s beautiful West Coast only 35 minutes drive from the central city.
Our surf shed is a 1 minute walk from the beach.
We are a kiwi owned and operated family business that pride ourselves on our customer service.
We offer qualified professional instructors in a fun and safe environment for surfers of any level.
Surf lessons are 2 hours and include a surfboard and wetsuit hire.
For those not needing a lesson we have a fantastic range of surfboards and wetsuits wich are available for short or long term hire

INTRODUCTION TO SURFING Group Lessons – daily at 10:30am and 3:00pm.
2 hours professional tuition. All equipment is provided; matched to the surfer for the day’s conditions.
Easy to learn surfing techniques, teaching board control, with information sheets to take home.
Instruction on surf safety and ocean awareness.
Instructors are in the water assisting with catching waves.
Standing and surfing in the first lesson.
Age 9+.

INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED – INDIVIDUAL LESSONS
Individual Lessons – daily at 8:00am, 1:00pm, 6:00pm.
2 hours professional tuition.
Perfect for getting you onto the next level or to improve technique.
Use of our extensive range of high performance equipment included.
Lessons tailored to meet your requirements.
Video coaching available on request.

INTERMEDIATE – GROUP LESSONS
Group Lessons – once a week according to conditions.
2 hours of professional tuition.
Perfect for progressing your surfing in a fun and safe environment.
Designed for surfers who are paddling out the back and catching unbroken waves.
Minimum of 4 students.
Use of our extensive range of our high performance equipment included.
