Kids Music Beat – The home of Boppin’ Babies

    Category: Classes and Music

Weekly Music Groups For Babies, Toddlers and Preschoolers Kids Music Beat (the home of Boppin’ Babies) offers weekly music groups for children of all ages, from babies and toddlers to pre-prep and kindy groups. Our music early learning groups are held once a week for 10 weeks during school terms. We offer our music groups at locations across Brisbane and Ipswich catering for groups of up to 10 families. We provide a special time each week for you and your child to experience the magic of making music together. We make music live and in the moment, we don’t ‘press play’ and crowd the environment with layers of sensory stimulation. We sing. We dance. We play instruments. We nurture relationships and provide age appropriate multi-modal stimulation. You can enjoy music in either age specific or mixed ages groups, so that you can choose what suits your child and family the best. Research supports developmentally specific music groups that allow your child to participate in age appropriate activities in age appropriate ways. Boppin’ Babies (Newborns to 12 months) music groups are about you and your bub. We offer a beautiful, gentle, relaxing and nurturing environment that focuses on you and your bub sharing a special time each week. Rockin’ Tots (13 months to 2.5 years) music groups provide a much greater focus on getting our groove on and moving to music. We incorporate movement that requires greater coordination, engaging and attending skills. Mini Mus-Ohs (2.5 to 3.5 years) music groups are for older toddlers who are ready to explore music and their world in more sophisticated ways using their imaginations, and are mini musicians in the making of course! Pre-Prep Rockstars (3.5 to 4 years+) offer a super fun group with lots of creative play, school readiness activities and for the first time some formal music early learning to the program. We offer mixed age Combo groups, depending on the location (see timetable). This is particularly attractive if want to attend music as a family, or want your little ones to interact with children of all ages.
