MagiKats provides a fun and engaging way to enhance maths and English skills for children and young people of all abilities, from Kindy to High School. Our aim is to help every student reach their full potential and help every child succeed.
We run our workshops twice a week in a friendly, clean and safe environment. Students attend a 40 minute weekly workshop where they work in small groups under the guidance of a mentor. At the end of each workshop students are given short pieces of work for completing at home to help retain their learning momentum until the next workshop.
Our MagiKats Southern River management team are educational professionals with experience of working with children aged 5 to 15 years. All of our mentors are fully trained in the MagiKats programme and are carefully selected to provide support across the full subject and age range. All staff are Working With Children checked.
As parents too, we fully appreciate that individual children have individual needs. We know that every child is unique and therefore aim to provide experiences that help meet the diverse needs of all children and promote a positive attitude to learning. We are excited to be part of an educational programme that supports the Australian School Curriculum, develops study skills, thinking skills and problem solving skills – all through a multi-sensory approach to learning.
